Reusable period care made for everyday life. Made from 100% medical-grade silicone, the bohokiwi Menstrual Disc comes in Small and Regular sizes and three colours - Neon Pink, Midnight Black and Ocean Blue.

Wear for up to 12 hours depending on your flow and individual needs. Unlike a menstrual cup, a disc sits higher in the vaginal canal and tucks behind the pubic bone.

Choose your size

bohokiwi menstrual discs come in two sizes. The right size is mainly about fit and comfort, but your flow, cervix height and previous disc experience can also help guide your choice.

Small - 45 ml
61 mm diameter x 35 mm height
The smaller-diameter option. It may suit you if you prefer a smaller fit, have a lower cervix, or find a larger disc uncomfortable or difficult to position.

Regular - 60 ml
68 mm diameter x 39 mm height
The larger-diameter option. It may suit you if you prefer a larger fit, have a higher cervix, or want more capacity for your flow.

A disc should sit comfortably behind the pubic bone without causing pressure or slipping out of position. Finding the right size can take some trial and error.

Using your menstrual disc

Insert the disc into the vaginal canal and tuck the front rim securely behind the pubic bone.

If discs are new to you, give yourself time to get familiar with insertion, positioning and removal. Follow the bohokiwi menstrual disc instructions for detailed guidance.

A menstrual disc can also be worn during penetrative vaginal sex if it is comfortable and correctly positioned. It is not a contraceptive and does not protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Cleaning and storage

Clean your disc regularly during your period and thoroughly between cycles. For deeper cleaning between cycles, you can use a bohokiwi steriliser according to its instructions.

Once completely dry, store your disc in the cotton storage bag provided.

For carrying your disc in your handbag, school bag or while travelling, the bohokiwi Carrier Case is available separately.

Check your disc regularly for changes in texture, persistent odour or damage, and replace it when necessary.
